Contents insurance
Home contents insurance covers damage to personal household items, such as furniture, televisions, clothes or sports equipment. Basic cover provides protection against damage caused by fire, natural hazards, water and theft at home. You can also purchase additional cover for other types of damage and risks such as theft away from home and loss.
Personal liability insurance
Personal liability insurance covers any damage you cause to others. It is optional. You are nevertheless strongly advised to take out this insurance, otherwise you have no protection against liability claims made by third parties.
